About SM Thompson Ltd

Our 70 year old track record in meeting the steel requirements of our many customers in local industry stands us in good stead. Each year brings fresh challenges as the needs of the welding industry continually evolve in an ever changing world. Meeting these challenges means ever increasing flexibility in working practices, larger ranges of materials in stock and the employment of ever more sophisticated machinery to meet the demands imposed upon us.

Our continued investment to new machinery enables us to offer a range of services to our customers, with exceptional precision. Our policy remains to constantly improve the range of performance, being a family company we can respond readily to market place changes.

Above all, our long standing commitment to provide responsibility, genuine care and courtesy remains in place.
